Connect ChatGPT

ChatGPT can read your deals and documents in TurboOffice, keep your tasks and notes, take a file you drop in the chat, and hand drafting to TurboOffice's assistant. Nothing is signed or sent for signatures without you.

TurboOffice is not in ChatGPT's app directory yet, so you add it as a custom connector in developer mode. These steps follow ChatGPT's settings as they were in October 2026. ChatGPT may move them.

Before you start

  • You need a TurboOffice account at a brokerage that has connecting apps turned on. Agents and their assistants can connect. Client accounts cannot.
  • No account yet? Request access and we will set one up.
  • You need a ChatGPT plan with developer mode. On a workspace plan, an admin turns developer mode on first.

Connect

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Connectors (called Apps on some plans), then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode.

  2. Back under Connectors, choose Create. Name it TurboOffice, paste https://turbooffice.ai/mcp as the server URL, and choose OAuth as the authentication.

  3. ChatGPT opens TurboOffice's sign-in page. Enter the email you sign in to TurboOffice with and choose Continue. It sends you to your brokerage's own TurboOffice sign-in page, with your email filled in, where you sign in as you normally do.

  4. Read the consent page. It names the account you signed in as and says what ChatGPT will be able to do:

    • Read your deals, tasks, needs and documents.
    • Update tasks and notes, mark what a deal has on file, reopen an offer marked not accepted or withdrawn, and propose other changes as cards for you to approve.
    • Hand work to Turbo Office's assistant: drafting offers, counters and amendments, and setting up listings and buyer deals. A few steps tell people at once: starting a listing or preparing its seller's disclosure asks the sellers to fill out the disclosure.
    • Approve cards when you tell it to. An approved card takes effect at once, even one that binds or ends a contract.
  5. Choose Allow. TurboOffice appears in your connectors.

  6. In a new chat, open the tools menu, turn on Developer mode, and choose TurboOffice. ChatGPT asks you to confirm a tool that makes changes before it runs. Tools that only read run without asking.

What to ask first

  • "What's on my plate today?"
  • "Where does the offer on 12 Oak St stand?"
  • "Add a task on 12 Oak St: order the survey by Friday."
  • Drop a signed amendment into the chat and say "file this on 12 Oak St." TurboOffice reads it and stages what it found as a card for you.

ChatGPT answers with links into TurboOffice. Open them there to read the paper, sign, or approve. See what the assistant can do.

What it cannot do

  • Sign anything. You and your clients sign in TurboOffice.
  • Send paper for signatures, or bind or end a contract, unless you approve it. These are cards that say what approving commits.
  • See deals you cannot see in TurboOffice, or another brokerage's deals.

Disconnect

In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Connectors, choose TurboOffice and remove it. To cut off every app connected to your account at once, contact support.

If something refuses

The page or ChatGPT says What it means
No account found You have no TurboOffice account at the address you signed in at. Check the address, or request access.
Only agents and their assistants can connect apps to Turbo Office. You signed in with a client account. Sign in with your agent account.
Connecting apps to Turbo Office is not turned on for your brokerage. Your brokerage has not turned this on. Ask your broker, or email parker@turbooffice.ai.
This Turbo Office address does not serve your brokerage. Connect the app using your brokerage's own Turbo Office address. You signed in at another brokerage's address. Start again and enter your own brokerage's address on the sign-in page.
A tool says a thread is still running TurboOffice's assistant is still working on that deal. Ask ChatGPT again in a minute.

If ChatGPT will not create the connector, check the server URL. It must be https://turbooffice.ai/mcp, or your brokerage's own address with /mcp at the end.
